This tournament meant a lot to me. Two wins against Top 20 players on clay gave me the kind of momentum I’ve been craving. I felt sharp, connected, and mentally grounded out there.
Despite the fourth round result I still walked off the court with a lot to be pleased about. Giving my best is my main goal, the rest is out of my control.
But I still walked off the court proud of the effort, proud of how far I’ve come—physically and emotionally. The pressure, the grind, the breakthroughs—it’s all part of the journey.
What I’m taking from Rome isn’t just the tennis. It’s how I showed up. I’ve made some major changes this season—cleaner eating, clearer focus, and a deep commitment to feeling good in my own skin. The gluten is gone, but the fire? That’s very much still here. And I’m only getting started. 💚🇮🇹
